The Roanoke Valley SPCA is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to provide high volume, high quality spay and neuter services and community animal care on the Roanoke Valley SPCA mobile clinic. The associate veterinarian is responsible for providing a level of care that best ensures the health and well-being of animals scheduled for surgery on the mobile clinic as well as those animals belonging to, or in the custody of, the Roanoke Valley SPCA. The candidate must be a dedicated high volume, high quality spay/neuter veterinarian with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as an ability to think quickly and remain calm in the event of an emergency.
