Full Time Veterinarian

Westside Animal Hospital located in Augusta, Ga is seeking an experienced full time veterinarian who is capable of working in a steady, well established, two doctor practice. Applicant must be interested in practicing high quality medicine and surgical procedures. We believe in comprehensive veterinary medicine and educating our clients so that they can make informed medical decisions. Our ideal candidate will genuinely enjoy working with pet owners, rescue organizations and veterinary support staff. Must have excellent communication skills and a positive, professional work ethic and attitude. Must be able to handle a steady patient load and work independently. We are looking for a full time veterinarian with several years of experience in a two doctor environment, however new graduates will be considered. We are a small animal clinic that primarily sees cats and dogs but are open to considering exotic work if interested. Work duties include examinations, surgeries, and treatments. We are open Monday through Friday with half days on Wednesday and Saturday. Elective surgeries are generally not scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are looking for someone available 4-5 days a week and every other Saturday. GA DVM licensed and DEA licensed required. USDA accreditation desired.
