The Dermatology Service at CUVS works collaboratively with other services within CUVS, as well as accepting referrals from other specialty and general practices. Technicians will assist with consultations, intradermal and serum allergy testing, video-otoscopy, Computed Tomography (CT), skin and ear cytology, skin scrapings, fine needle aspirates, biopsies, cultures, etc., and also play a vital role in client education. Established in 2011, we are a for-profit subsidiary of Cornell University. As such, our hospital combines the best aspects of academic practice with the best aspects of private practice to create a unique hospital model. Our culture prioritizes and values the veterinary technician and their essential role in the clinical team. Our doctors and technicians are a cohesive team of professionals who strongly believe in collaboration, communication, respect, and lifelong learning. We are dedicated to helping our team members develop to their fullest potential, whether it is pursuing your VTS, or a supervisory position through our Nursing Leadership Initiative. Why choose a hospital that offers you a job, when you can choose a hospital that offers you a career? Located in Harbor Point in Stamford, CT, we are 45 minutes from Manhattan and minutes from commuter trains and the Interstate. We are an easy commute from Westchester, Putnam, Orange, Rockland and Duchess Counties. CUVS offers an outstanding compensation package, including CE allowance, matching 401k, medical, dental, pet, disability and life insurance. We also offer an amazing culture!
