WAVES (Western Australian Veterinary Emergency & Specialty) is seeking a Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist, Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging or Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists to join our specialty referral and emergency hospital in Perth, Western Australia.
WAVES is a multi-disciplinary hospital offering referrals in surgery, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, oncology, emergency and critical care. The hospital offers comprehensive facilities including an in-house lab, surgical suite, ultrasound and CT. There are plans to double the size of the hospital in 2017-2018 to accommodate more patients, 2 additional specialties, upgrade the existing CT to a 16 slice and install a high-field MRI.
We are looking for a team player who is able to establish a good rapport with referring veterinarians and colleagues, provide timely professional and respectful communication in addition to assisting in their professional growth and education through recommendations and interaction on referred and shared cases. You must also have exceptional communication skills and be able to manage your caseload whilst working in harmony with the rest of the hospital.
You must hold a veterinary degree and specialist qualification in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging registrable in Australia, have a professional work ethic and a positive, friendly attitude.
If you are dedicated and enthusiastic and would like to explore opportunities to join or partner with our hospital, we are very keen to hear from you! Even better, step out of your reading room and come visit us in the sunniest city in Australia.
