Are you interested in joining our small faculty team, teach in small class sizes, in a family-like environment?
We are currently looking for full-time veterinary faculty who are passionate about teaching one or more of the following courses: Clinical Skills, Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Anesthesiology, Avian and Exotic Animal Medicine, and Toxicology.
The ideal candidate possesses a DVM/VMD or equivalent degree with several years of professional experience. MSc, and/or PhD degree and board certification/eligibility are preferred.
The successful candidate will mainly coordinate and teach own specialty courses and hold office hours for student mentoring. Dependent upon credit hours faculty may commit to additional teaching according to own interest and experience. All faculty members participate in faculty committees, and school governance.

Our students spend the first seven semesters on Grand Cayman and complete their final year of clinical rotations at one of our affiliate schools in the United States or Canada. We have a trimester system with three new classes per year.

About St. Matthew's University SOVM
The School of Veterinary Medicine at St. Matthew's University admits students three times per year (September, January and May). The school has three semesters per year with all courses taught in each semester of the year. Students spend the first seven semesters at the main campus on Grand Cayman and complete their final year of clinical sciences education at one of our affiliate Schools of Veterinary Medicine in the United States.
