Animal Clinic of Walla Walla seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Our clinic is a busy, three-doctor mixed practice in beautiful Walla Walla, WA. The area is home to a stable and growing local economy with year round opportunities for outdoor recreation and culture. We are seeking an energetic, motivated licensed veterinary technician to join our team of two veterinary technicians, four veterinary assistants, and three receptionists. This is a full-time position (though part-time would be considered) with a four-day work week consisting of 10 hour days with rotating on-call duties. Wages are hourly with paid holidays and vacation, covered license fees, CE budget, and participation in a simple retirement plan after one year of employment. We are also very pleased to be able to offer health care to staff members beginning January 2019. Animal Clinic of Walla Walla is a progressive mixed animal practice with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house Idexx bloodwork and diagnostics, and endoscopy.
Successful applicants will be competent in surgical and medical skills, as well as embody strong interpersonal and communication skills that make them a valuable team player. Experience is preferred, and large animal (equine) interest would be a bonus, though all applicants will be considered.

You will leave your appointment with written information to improve the health and care of your animal. Lunchtime Learning is held over lunchtime when scheduled with our vendor reps. Classes are free and cover topics to improve the health and welfare of dogs and cats. We hope to add topics for horses and livestock in the near future.Animal Clinic of Walla Walla provides emergency services in cooperation with other veterinarians and clinics the area and we are equipped to make house and ranch calls.
