| De Cillo Equine Clinic, Hempstead, TX. has an immediate opening for an associate equine veterinarian. The clinic is located approximately 70 miles northwest of Houston; 45 miles south of Texas A & M University. Practice is 60% ambulatory with a full service hospital for colic treatments, minor surgeries, reproduction, hospitalizations, PRP and IRAP treatments. Practice is equipped with digital radiography, endoscopy, ultrasounds, shockwave, dental floats. The practice services all disciplines with focus on the overall care and lameness of the horse. We are the show veterinarians for the major hunter/jumper shows at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center, as well as polo tournaments throughout the area. Associate will have use of a fully stocked vet truck with technician. The ideal applicant would be personable, with a very strong work ethic and interest in continuing education. Must be comfortable working with all equine disciplines and breeds. Experience is recommended, as associate will be asked to perform tube worming,dental floating, and handle emergencies, in addition to routine wellness care and lameness evaluations.
