We are a high volume 24-hour emergency service, located in Gilbert, Arizona. Qualifications: Certified Veterinary Technician in Arizona (or eligible) with a minimum one-year experience (emergency experience preferred, but not required). Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to critically think and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. The desire to continually advance your knowledge and skills is essential in order to achieve the optimal standard of patient care provided at AVECCC.
Job duties include, but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of enteral and parenteral medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Benefit package included medical, vision, dental, CE allowance, uniforms, 401K, and PTO. Potential for relocation allowance or signing bonus.
