A 3-year combined residency/graduate degree position in Veterinary Clinical Pathology is available beginning July 15, 2021 in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Washington State University, Pullman, WA.
The program is designed to meet the needs of individuals seeking a MSc degree and ACVP certification. Training includes participating in the hospital clinical pathology service, teaching clinical pathology to 2nd and 4th year DVM students, attending courses/seminars and performing basic/clinical research. Individuals who choose to pursue further graduate studies leading to a PhD degree will be encouraged to do so through the College of Veterinary Medicine graduate programs.
The starting stipend for the position is currently $31,716 per year with WSU graduate student benefits, health insurance, and tuition waiver. There are available funds for professional development. Continuation in the program depends upon satisfactory professional and academic performance.

Applicants must have a DVM degree from an AVMA accredited college of veterinary medicine or comparable foreign institution and be eligible for enrollment in the Graduate School at Washington State University, https://gradschool.wsu.edu/ . Completion of an internship or comparable practice experience is preferred. Full consideration will be given to applications submitted until October 12, 2020.
