Are you a seasoned DVM looking for a change? Or a recent grad just starting out and hoping to find your veterinary family? Is the best part of your day spent nurturing the human-animal bond? This just might be your dream job! Lake Emma Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to join our team in providing high-quality medical care and excellent customer service to the pets of metropolitan Orlando. We are an AAHA-accredited, moderately paced hospital that prioritizes team member satisfaction and independence over quotas and profit. We provide our veterinarians the freedom to practice as they see fit, confident in their ability to produce exceptional results and their commitment to treating both animals and their human companions with respect and compassion. We understand that our employees’ success is our success, and we work together to support one another every step of the way. As a suburb of Orlando, Lake Mary has a little something for everyone, including easy access to the beach, the area’s many popular theme parks, as well as out-of-the-way charm and some of the state’s best schools. In addition to a value-driven, welcoming work environment and an ideal setting, we can offer you:
Our facility is state-of-the-art and our doctors enjoy the latest in veterinary technology, including radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, and surgical CO2 laser, as well as digital dental radiograph capability. We currently operate six days a week with very limited on-call work. The successful candidate will have a DVM or equivalent and be licensed or qualified to be licensed to practice in the state of Florida. USDA accreditation is preferred but not required. We’re willing to train the right person. That person is a highly adaptable individual, eager to work in a cutting-edge environment where the standard of care is very high. We have experienced and skilled nurses on staff to assist our doctors, freeing them up to practice medicine that is informed by our core values. These values are represented by the acronym “CHEER,” which stands for Compassion, Honesty, Excellence, Engagement, and Respect. We expect every member of our team to embody such values when interacting with each other, our clientele, and our pet patients. Does all of the above excite you? Would you like to join our family of animal advocates? Send a cover letter and resume to Jen, our Practice Manager. We can’t wait to meet you!
