The Associate Veterinarian has many important responsibilities and plays many roles within the practice; however, the primary responsibility is to maintain animal health by diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries. The Associate Veterinarian is to make every effort to help improve the quality of care given to the patients. They lead the healthcare team in daily appointments, treatments, routine and emergency procedures and surgery. This person is entrepreneurial, self-directed and passionate about providing exceptional experiences for team members, clients, patients and vendors. Because this is a growing entrepreneurial organization, this position will need to work across many disciplines, interacting effectively throughout the organization and fully leveraging the resources available. Diagnostic tools: digital general and dental radiology, ultrasound, cold laser, full IDEXX in-house VetSuite and reference laboratory.
