How great would it be to work as an associate veterinarian enjoying 3-days off a week, with techs who are not only competent but enjoyable to be around, flexible and modern-thinking owners (who don't give you a hard time when you feel the need to refer a patient out or your ACT is not the national average), and get to live near the beaches in Florida?

This really isn't a 'too good to be true' job posting, we exist and our hospital is Islandside Animal Hospital in Cape Coral, FL. Located close to Fort Myers Beaches, Sanibel, and Captiva Islands our little spot of paradise in Southwest Florida is a place that really feels like home. We opened our practice in January 2017 with the goal of creating a place that not only offers quality, compassionate care to our patients and clients but also a practice in which we look forward to coming in to work. We are an independently owned practice and are proud members of the IVPA - Independent Veterinary Practitioners Association.

We have in-house bloodwork (including in-house cortisol, bile acids, T4 and TSH tests), Digital Radiographs with a state of the art Cuattro unit, Digital Dental X-ray, are a fully paperless practice, and utilize a practice management software that is cloud-based (eVetPractice) so you can do your notes on your phone, tablet, computer, in clinic, at home, wherever internet access is available!

We are currently a 3-doctor practice looking to add a fourth doctor to our staff. We are looking for a full time OR part time Associate Veterinarian to work up to 40 hours/week practicing common sense veterinary medicine. Other benefits are negotiable as well if you are looking for something specific! Any experience level with an active (or soon to be active) DVM will be considered. Mentorship is available!
