The Veterinary Medical Center in Syracuse, NY is proud to have an established critical care service that is growing, and we are in search of a fourth criticalist who can work alongside other specialists to provide collaborative care in a positive, collegial manner. 

The VMC is a privately owned 18,000 sq ft hospital (with plans for upcoming expansion) that currently offers 24 hour emergency in addition to Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, Cardiology, Nutrition, Anesthesiology and Critical Care. In addition, within the VMC exists CARE, a complementary rehabilitation and pain management center. The CC Service has its own technical team to ensure efficient case management and clinician support. Attached to the VMC is an IDEXX reference laboratory, which enables accurate test results with a fast turnaround time for hospitalized patients. The criticalists work 3-4 days shifts per week.
