Partners and Paws Veterinary Services is seeking a part-time or full-time veterinarian to join our practice in the western suburbs of Chicago (Lisle, IL).
Founded in 2013, Partners and Paws Veterinary Services is privately owned, and is dedicated to offeringexcellent and affordable service to our clients. We treat each pet as if they were our own and treat our clients as if they were family. In addition to private citizen and rescue clientele, we work with over 100 law enforcement/working canines, generating interesting, diverse, and challenging cases.
Our ideal candidate is a compassionate and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong teamwork ethic. They must possess a dedication to the pursuit of excellence in the clinical practice of veterinary medicine and have a comfort level with or a desire to increase experience with soft tissue surgery.
With 20+ years of experience each, Drs. Timothy Brandes and Alexis Newman can provide mentoring andsupport to a graduating veterinarian as needed. We have a strong, knowledgeable staff to provide support toour veterinarians with a DVM:Tech ratio of 1:1-2. Our facility has 4 exam rooms, 1 surgical suite, 1 special procedure suite (dental, endoscopy, etc.), a full in-house lab and pharmacy. Our clinic is fully computerized and equipped:
Digital radiography and dental radiography
Idexx VetLab Station - Catalyst One, LaserCyte Dx, Sedivue Dx, SNAP Pro
CE, license, and DEA reimbursement
Paid time off (PTO)
Partners and Paws Veterinary Services is open Monday to Friday 8a-7p, and Saturday 8a-1p. Our ideal candidate would cover a selection of 12 hour shifts throughout the week with some Saturday coverage. There are no after-hours calls and no on-call duties.
