Mid Atlantic Cat Hospital is an AAHA accredited, gold level cat friendly, Paw Project member practice led by an ABVP Feline Diplomate. We are looking for an outgoing cat doctor interested in practicing high level medicine and being a part of a comprehensive health care team. Our practice is located on the beautiful eastern shore of Maryland. Maryland is known as America in miniature – we are close to cities (Annapolis, Baltimore, DC, and Philly), we have the amazing Chesapeake Bay and great beaches on the Atlantic Ocean, we have mountains, horse country, and great rural communities. MACH is located in Queenstown, which is both a haven for people looking to escape the city as well as daily commuters.
As a member of our medical team, you will have the independence to pursue your own special interests, as well as receive mentorship from a feline specialist. Desire for specialty certification is strongly encouraged, and we can help you reach that goal. We are constantly learning and elevating our standard of care. Our caseload includes everything from wellness exams to complicated medical second opinions, rescue kitties to purebreds. Equipment on site includes ultrasound, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and therapeutic laser. Our sister business, Mid Atlantic Feline Thyroid Center, is leading the way in hyperthyroid treatment in our region.
Join us and enjoy being the family doctor, having a lower cost of living, and a relaxed pace of life. Experience preferred, but exceptional new graduates will happily be considered. Position is full time, but part time also considered. Generous CE allowance, health insurance, retirement plan, and no emergencies or weekends. Other benefits are possible – what would you like? Let’s talk! Hospital buy-in is also an option.
We spend a lot of time laughing here, and love what we do. We put an emphasis on quality of life for our patients and for our employees. Check us out, and join our team!
