Downtown Greensboro Animal Hospital is a well established, growing small/exotic animal hospital. We are looking to expand our services offered and grow our practice and want to offer an associate veterinarian full-time or part-time position to a driven DVM. We are uniquely located in the business district of downtown Greensboro in an urban and pedestrian friendly area. We are adjacent to several well established, desirable neighborhoods of Greensboro, including Fisher Park, Old Irving Park, Westerwood and a short drive to Sunset Hills. We foster an environment of teamwork and education and have been fortunate to have great employee retention. Our desire is to make sure that all of our employees are equipped to perform to their full potential. We are well outfitted with three patient exam rooms, mobile digital dental and digital full body radiology, full surgery suite with state of the art patient monitoring equipment and patient warming blankets. We offer ultrasound, laser therapy, in house Abaxis lab suite that integrates with our Impromed medical records system, tonometry, NIBP and EKG assessments. In addition to small animals, we provide the opportunity to work with exotics, providing wellness visits, as well as medical and surgical care for these pets. We do offer boarding for our clients' pets including exotics. Our expectations would be that your time here is fulfilling as you work to build long lasting client/patient relationships through compassionate veterinary medicine. Great communication skills, client care and education and willingness to try new things are essential and encouraged. Full-time doctors have a four day work week and no weekend shifts. After hours emergency care is provided by three local veterinary emergency clinics in Greensboro, as well as access to other emergency/specialty hospitals in Winston Salem and NCSU-CVM.
