Give us the opportunity to convince you our practice is best for you. We live in an amazing area surrounded by mountain views, farms, wineries, orchards, and resort Omni Bedford Springs. Our five-doctor practice is searching for the right person to join our privately owned clinic where our clients are loyal with high compliance. When you join our team, you will be working with four veterinarians with over 70 years combined experience meaning always having access for support. We are excited to learn new information and look forward to helping/mentoring veterinarians who are new to the profession. We encourage the pursuits of special interests (i.e., orthopedics, ultrasound, dentals…) you may have or develop. We have recently (2019) expanded our waiting/reception area and added an additional 3 exam rooms bringing our total exam rooms to six. Renovation is soon to begin for our laboratory room allowing more treatment space. Our up-to-date equipment (same as everybody else) allows you to perform diagnostics the same day to help you and your patients. We value our work/life balance and the importance of time away from the practice. Serving the animals and people of our community is truly our philosophy. We offer competitive benefits including exceptional retirement plan, paid vacation, fully paid health insurance, paid AVMA dues and PLIT, clothing allowance, CE stipend and a 4-day work week. Take a few minutes send an email or give us a call. firstname.lastname@example.org or (814) 310-1677.
The Veterinary Medical Center, located on Route 30 east of Bedford PA, has been serving our community for nearly fifty years. Beginning as a mixed animal practice, we have slowly evolved into a five doctor companion animal exclusive practice. We offer high quality patient care in a compassionate atmosphere while being supported by a great community with a wonderful client base.
We continually strive to advance the practice for the betterment of our patients and the community. We support and encourage individual veterinary interests, work with a local animal rescue, and support numerous community groups. We have also adopted numerous fear free techniques to improve our patients’ experience. We view our patients as individuals and tailor care to their specific needs.
Our current equipment includes digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, high-power dental drill/ultrasonic scaler, and in-house laboratory. Our facility underwent a large renovation in 2019 to better accommodate our shift from a mixed animal to companion animal only practice. We currently have 11 full-time and 2 part-time support staff members who are extremely knowledgeable and well trained. We enha...nce our staff’s skill set by committing to weekly staff meetings that keep everyone up-to-date, educated, and in sync.
