VCA Sheridan Animal Hospital is seeking an Emergency & Urgent Care Doctor to join our growing and flourishing AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor small animal practice in Buffalo, New York.

We are a long-standing veterinary hospital with a 40+ year reputation for excellence in our community. Our doctors and team strive to practice high quality medicine with exceptional client service. We are looking for a compassionate Internist with effective communication skills who enjoys progressive medicine and the comradery of working with others in a private practice setting. 

VCA Sheridan Animal Hospital is open 6 days a week to better serve our patients and clients and allows for a balanced quality of life outside of work. We are a fully- equipped, AAHA Certified, small animal practice that has the tools necessary to provide top quality medicine. With an established surgical team which includes a VTS (Anesthesia/Analgesia) we have everything you need to assist with all of your anesthetic procedures.

We have flexible and rigid scopes for lower and upper GI scoping, Rhinoscopy and Bronchoscopy. We have a fully equipped surgery suite with instrumentation to preform specialty surgical procedures. Ultrasound and digital radiology. We provide 24/7 consultations with a board-certified Radiologist. We support and encourage continuing education and training for new techniques so our hospital can offer the most current care for our patients.

Our beautiful hospital is located in the heart of the Buffalo-Niagara region, the second-largest metropolitan area in the state of NY. The area is well known for its historical buildings and cultural activities. With close proximity to the great Lakes and Niagara Falls the plethora of water activities are endless. There are many state parks to enjoy and explore during all four seasons. As much as we enjoy our summer fun you will find our winter activities are just as popular, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling,  just to name a few. Buffalo is home to a few popular sport teams that we love to cheer on. We have wonderful restaurants, breweries and wineries. Our unique location also allows us quick access to another country that gives us so much more to explore.
