Chair of the Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences (ASCI)   The University of Vermont (UVM) invites applications and nominations for Chair of the Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences (ASCI) in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The Department is a multidisciplinary unit with research, instruction, and public outreach responsibilities. We seek a strong leader with the vision and management skills to advance the department while nurturing current programs of excellence. Areas of scholarly focus in ASCI include: lactation & mammary gland biology; genetics & genomics; nutrition & metabolism; dairy cattle health and management; dairy product composition and quality; and farm biosecurity.
