Kokopelli Animal Hospital Veterinarian Kokopelli Animal Hospital is a progressive three doctor small animal practice in Fruita Colorado. We are privately owned, AAHA certified since 2008, Fear Free and Feline Friendly. Work/life balance is paramount for employees and doctors, open M-F 8-5:30 with no weekends or after hours emergencies. We are looking for a full time veterinarian with excellent communication skills, experience is preferred but not required. We are a paperless practice with five exam rooms and focus on preventive care, dentistry and general surgery. Our hospital has digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, Companion class 4 laser, two dental units, electrocautery, and an IDEXX telemedicine ECG unit. Our laboratory includes a cbc machine, two chemistry analyzers, an abaxis U/A analyzer, coagulation analyzer, and an istat unit. Ultrasound and echo are performed onsite and a traveling surgeon is available for complex surgeries. We have wonderful clientele and are honored to be a small part of a great community. Our amazing staff is talented, dedicated, hard working and the reason we are able to provide top notch care. We have excellent collaboration between our doctors and enjoy a fun work environment. Outdoor opportunities are abundant in Western Colorado. We are close to phenomenal hiking, rafting, camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, and world class road and mountain biking. Fruita is a little over an hour from Moab, 30 minutes from Palisade wine country, one hour from the Grand Mesa and situated right next to the Colorado National Monument. Fruita is an amazing place to live and practice veterinary medicine, we enthusiastically welcome the right candidate!

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Colorado
