About Parkville Animal Hospital
Welcome to Parkville Animal Hospital, offering routine and emergency/urgent veterinary services since 1985. We pride ourselves on being local and small, so that we can communicate with all of our different clients in a personal manner, and so that we can provide personalized care for your canine or feline friend.
Parkville Animal Hospital opened its doors on March 15th,1985 in the middle of a small strip shopping center, originally occupying one store. As owner Dr. Duane S. Mangini V.M.D. began seeing more patients, he quickly found that the business needed room to grow. In 1988, Parkville Animal Hospital expanded to an adjoining storefront, and again in 1995 with a third storefront, which occupies most of the small strip mall today. The exciting expansions allowed room for a larger surgical suite, boarding suites, dental suite, ultrasound/telemedicine room, and additional examination rooms.
Dr. Mangini caters to the cats and dogs of Parkville, MD, and has purposely kept the practice small in order to provide the utmost exceptional veterinary care to each of his patients. It’s this kind of quality care to expect in an animal hospital that keeps patients returning year after year. Upon entering the hospital, you will immediately feel welcome from the Parkville Animal Hospital team, as they provide both you and your pets with a comfortable environment. The team also prides themselves on providing clear advice during each veterinary visit and is happy to answer any and all questions about your pet’s health that you may have.
