Join Our Team as an Urgent Care Veterinarian at Kiln Creek Animal Care in Newport News, VA!

Kiln Creek Animal Care is looking for an experienced DVM to join them and grow Urgent Care as an offering.

This is a Part-time Position - At this time we are looking for someone who is looking to work weekends: Saturday and Sunday 12 hour shifts

About Our Clinic:

Kiln Creek Animal Care is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, behavioral, surgical and dental care. 

Our Fear Free certified healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner. We are one of the most progressive animal hospitals in Newport News and on the peninsula offering dentistry and surgery.

The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, state-of-the-art in-house laboratory integrated with computerized management software, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house digital radiology capabilities, an ultrasound machine, therapeutic laser therapy, a closely supervised hospitalization area, grooming services and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor exercise areas.

This is a very exciting time to join the team and build upon the loving community the hospital already has in place.

There is a huge demand for Urgent Care and we are very selective on the team members we hire for our hospitals, and we take great pride in the way our hospitals are managed. We want a positive atmosphere, where all staff members enjoy coming to work each day. Our Urgent Care hours will be open Saturdays and Sundays to best serve our community's needs. We are open to Full-Time or Part-Time schedules and are eager to discuss what will work best for you! Ideal Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience
• Virginia Veterinary License – active and in good standing
• Urgent Care interest and/or experience a plus
• Team-oriented mentality that supports our positive culture
