We are looking for a veterinarian who will help care for our extremely loyal and well-educated client base with enthusiasm and dedication. Because we are a small practice we know our owners and patients well - no high-stress, assembly-line work here! Dr. Dorothee established the practice in 2009 and has been running it as a solo practitioner ever since, with the help of dedicated support staff who are highly valued and have been with us for years. Whether you are looking for a slower pace in a beautiful region of New York that allows you to safely raise a family or are just at the beginning of your career and are looking to get a running start in a well-established practice with regional name recognition, we can adjust the job to your needs. Part-time, full-time, or thinking about buying in: anything is possible. While Rivendell currently is a boutique practice (and profitable that way!), there is plenty of growth potential, as the remaining local veterinarians who are providing some mixed large animal care are all almost all near or of retirement age, and we have been turning down new clients for the past year.
