About This Role:

We are seeking to add an overnight DVM to our current staff of passionate ER doctors. Your responsibilities would involve the care of the currently hospitalized patients, seeing outpatient emergencies as they present, and performing surgeries based on your desire and comfort level. Scheduling is extremely flexible- 8, 10 and 12 hour shifts are all available. A "block" schedule with several days on, followed by an extended period of time off,  and swing shifts (example- 3am-3pm) are all options. We will make a schedule based on your availability to help you maintain your passion for veterinary medicine while still enjoying your time off to it fullest!

About You:

-Ability to build rapport with customers, fellow team members and management

-Calm and centered in stressful, ER situations

-Attention to detail

-A positive and empathetic attitude

-Experienced DVM is preferred, but new grad with strong work ethic and desire to learn will be considered

About Us:

Wilson Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, AAHA accredited small animal hospital. We provide general practice services, ER/ Urgent Care services, critical care/ hospitalization, soft tissue, orthopedic, arthroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, CT scan, ultrasonography, endoscopy, rehabilitation with underwater treadmill, and full service canine reproduction. The founder, Dr. John Wilson, is board certified and several of our staff veterinarians are internship trained.
