Let’s face it, small animal general practice is a no-joke career path. Each day we wake up with the prospect of absolutely anything and we face it all head-on. It takes a special breed of human to do what we do. This is a shout out to our fellow small animal GPs.
Now down to business. Our community, our practice, is in need. And we need you! Consider scheduling an interview with us, all expenses paid, so we can tell you what’s in it for you. We are located in the beautiful and growing town of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, home of the prestigious Bucknell University. We have the tools you need for practice, an excellent support staff whom we cherish as extended family, and all of the standard perks of the job which we could elaborate on upon request.
Now, what you really need to know that sets our practice apart from the rest! As of November 2021, our 3 associate veterinarians grossed more than $150,000 so far this year (and the year isn’t even over yet, folks!) working 4 to 5 days a week, no weekends, no on-call, no overnight. You will make an unprecedented 25% commission on absolutely everything you earn Including prescriptions as well as preventatives sold. What?! This is not a new, desperate bribe for help, this is what we have always done and what veterinarians should be paid for our hard work. Period. If you’d rather pad the pockets of some big corporation, that’s your mistake to make. And yes, we are privately owned. While you’re here, consider interviewing at other practices in town. Did they really just say that??! Yes, we did. This community and all of our local practices need help. If we are not the right fit for you, another practice here may be. Considerate it unconventional but we’re shooting from the hip here and we are not just veterinarians, we are humanitarians.
