A great state to work in, (no state income tax), no snow, unlikely to be hit by hurricanes, located on the Northeast coast of Florida.  Cost of living is affordable, and the city and surrounding areas are filled with nature preserves and community parks.  Within a short drive, one can be at the ocean, in farmlands, or downtown at a sporting event.  The city is also compromised of an international airport, a NFL team (though we won’t discuss their season), a state university (along with colleges both state and private), endless K-12 educational options, military bases, and the home to the Gate River Run.  Whether you like being indoors, or spending your time kayaking, surfing, hiking or on the art scene, Jacksonville has something for everyone.
